The Beard

The word is Harrison and Kiesel are doing the beard again. Harrison is way behind as of today. The way Kiesel looked he might have a shot at beating last years beard. I don't know that beard will be hard to top.

New Broadened Definition Of A Defenseless Player

A defenseless player now is defined as those throwing a pass; attempting or completing a catch without having time to ward off or avoid contact; a runner whose forward progress has been stopped by a tackler; kickoff or punt returners while the ball is in the air; kickers or punters during a kick or a return; a quarterback during a change of possession; a player who receives a blindside block from a blocker moving toward his own end zone. It will be a 15-yard penalty for anyone who launches himself to hit a defenseless player, and such tackles also will be subject to fines.                                                                                                                 Okay folks, this season should be interesting. Go Steelers.

Get Ready Hines And Come On Idiots

Now that Hines is done dancing with the stars. He needs to get his game face back on and get ready for this season to start. Only if the owners and players get their heads out of their asses and come up with an agreement that will please everybody. I hear if they don't get something done by the first week in July. It is going to effect the preseason and maybe the regular season as well. Costing them over 1 billion dollars. What a bunch of idiots to screw something up that was perfectly fine and making them all millionaires and billionaires. I guess that's what greed will do to you. Let's Go Steelers.

DWTS

Congrats to Hines Ward on bringing the Mirror Ball Trophy home to Pittsburgh. But we also got to give it up for the best fans in the world for voting for Hines too. Steeler Nation Rules. Go Steelers.

Is NFL Soft Now

Okay, Is everybody ready for longer games and higher scoring games. With the new rules in place about hitting a defenseless player, not leaving both feet when making a tackle, launching yourself forward and making contact with a players helmet with your own helmet and shoulder. Confused yet, I am and probably half the defensive players in the NFL too. Trust me, there are more rules still to come. I'm all for player safety but the defenses are at a big disadvantage against the offense. And they need to have some consistent calls for this crap to work. Last year I don't even think the refs new what the hell the rules were. Hopefully Harrison don't get boned again for a good clean hit. Let them play. Go Steelers.
